A statement from our Chairman regarding the statement made by Crispin Blunt MP:

Crispin Blunt MP made a public statement yesterday about Imran Ahmad Khan’s conviction for child sexual assault.

We totally disagree with Crispin’s statement and it does not represent the views of our members or our association.

Our thoughts are firmly with the victim and their family.

In line with our party’s rules our executive council will meet at the earliest possible opportunity to consider further actions.

On behalf of the officers of Reigate & Banstead Conservative Association.

Dr Ben Mearns
