It has been a privilege to be your Councillor representing all the residents of Banstead Village over the past 16 years.
Banstead is a vibrant, attractive Village, which has developed over time whilst retaining its character. With the continued ans increasing need for housing we must resist the pressure for unnecessary and inappropriate developments within Banstead to protect the Village, and the surrounding greenbelt.
Working closely with your other Councillors, Eddy Humphreys and Nadean Moses, and fellow residents, I shall maintain the focus of the protecting the Village so that we all can continue to enjoy the benefits of living and working in Banstead
Our reputation for prudent financial management of your money has ensured that we have delivered yet another balanced budget for 2022/23. This means that we can continue to invest in the services that are important to you and bring about positive improvements, such as
- redeveloping council owned land to deliver much needed affordable housing for our residents
- exceeding the plan led target for creating necessary homes across the borough, helping protect the green belt
- providing electric charging points to Banstead car park
I shall continue to use my professional skills, knowledge and experience for the benefit of all residents of Banstead Village.
