A member of the Reigate & Banstead Conservative Association for nearly 20 years, Zully resides in the Reigate Constituency. In the period 2009-2021 she served as Surrey County Councillor for Reigate Hill and Merstham, Surrey County Councillor for Reigate (following boundary changes), and Reigate & Banstead Borough Councillor for Reigate Hill. During her 12-year tenure she was not only active in local issues, but active serving in several Surrey-wide scrutiny committees and as Surrey County Council Cabinet Member for Corporate Management with special responsibility for the authority’s digital strategy including collaboration with the NHS and business partnership with other councils in south east England.
Zully was awarded an MSc and PhD in Computer Science from Imperial College London.
A mathematician and computer scientist by profession, she has held positions in academia, industry and the City of London.
