Reigate, Redhill and Banstead's Conservatives have unveiled their team of candidates for the local elections on 22nd May, seeking to represent local residents on Reigate & Banstead Borough Council.  A total of 9 existing councillors are seeking re-election, with 3 new candidates seeking to achieve election.

Cllr Joan Spiers to retire as Council Leader

At Full Council meeting last Thursday evening (10th April) Conservative Council Leader Mrs Joan Spiers announced her intention to step down as Leader of the Council at the end of the municipal year at the 12th June Council meeting.

My name is Ronnie and I live in Redhill West and Wray Common on Gatton Park Road. I work in Redhill and volunteer with a youth group a stone's throw from the town centre. I drive on the same roads and shop in the same shops as you. I love our community and want it to thrive.

Hi! I'm James King and I've been a councillor for South Park and Woodhatch since 2016. I've got deep and long-standing family connections in the ward having grown up here, with both my parents growing up in Rushetts Road.

Lorraine is a wife and mother of three who has lived in Banstead for 25 years. Having been a member and Patron of the Reigate & Banstead Association for several years, Lorraine was elected in 2025 as Deputy Chairman Membership & Fundraising.
